E.J., a current student at the Bolles School, is a dedicated student and athlete and was recently awarded the Art Alexander Award for Most Athletic Freshman along with his varsity letter in football. He looks back fondly on his days at SJEDS. “I still sing the Shurley English jingles in my head, and apply all the different math methods I learned at SJEDS to my algebra classes.” In addition to making lifelong friends, E.J. praises his teachers who were like family. His favorite memory is bonding with his fellow classmates on the fifth grade Washington D.C. trip. When he’s not playing lacrosse or football, E.J. enjoys school, especially history, and has returned to SJEDS as a junior summer camp counselor for flag football.
