SJEDS is proud to offer a variety of extracurricular athletic programs including basketball, cheerleading, volleyball, flag football, tennis and soccer. SJEDS basketball, flag football, volleyball and soccer teams compete in the North Florida Independent School Athletic Conference (NFISAC).
Registration is now open for Spring Break Basketball Clinic at SJEDS!
The SJEDS basketball team competes in the NFISAC. Students practice after school once a week and each team has one game per week. The Lady Bears won the NFISAC championship in 2013, and in 2014, the third and fourth grade boys were the NFISAC champions!
SJEDS cheerleaders pump up school spirit with enthusiastic chants, choreographed dances and run-through signs for the athletic teams! Cheerleaders practice once a week and cheer at one or two games a week.
The SJEDS girls volleyball program provides a fun environment where students can learn about volleyball and compete in two jamborees per season. Students practice once a week. In 2015, the Lady Bears won both jamborees against other FCIS schools!
The boys flag football team practices once a week and competes in games and a tournament at the end of the season.
The SJEDS tennis program offers students the opportunity to learn basic tennis skills and interact with their peers during matches.
The SJEDS Mighty Bears are returning for their fourth season of soccer in the NFISAC league!
