Welcome to our SJEDS Parents’ Association!
We have an active PA that provides a variety of services and events to our school for the benefit of our children. Each parent is a member, and it is your help–in any way, big or small–that makes it all happen.
There are an assortment of opportunities to fit your volunteer preferences, whether it’s working around your own schedule, working directly with our students or working side by side (and getting to know) other parents.
If you have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to call, email or stop me in the hall. I’m honored to serve as your PA President, and look forward to working together to make 2023-2024 another wonderful school year!

Altar Guild

- Set up church before chapel &/or straighten up afterwards

Book Fair

- Assist with Scholastic Book Fairs

Dads & Donuts

- Chapel service for dads and students
- Assist with refreshments after Chapel

Employee Appreciation Week

- Coordinate activities to show appreciation for Faculty & Staff

Fall Festival (P, S)
- School carnival with fun booths, bouncy houses and food.
- Various levels of involvement leading up to event.

Father / Daughter Dance

- Magical evening of dancing and light refreshments
- Various levels of involvement leading up to event.

Field Day

- Work with PE and class teachers to coordinate schedule of events.
- Create and distribute participation medals, ribbons, t-shirts and refreshments.

Fund For San Jose
- Under the direction of the Director of Marketing & Development
- Update parents on annual giving progress
Gala

Hospitality

Mother/Son Event

- Collect used uniforms and coordinate used uniform swaps
