Did you know that the cost to educate each student goes above and beyond full-priced tuition? Like all other area independent schools, we rely on additional annual funding to provide an exceptional yet affordable education without substantial tuition increases. The Fund for San Jose helps to provide the standard of excellence for which we are known.
Please consider a gift that is comfortable for your family and know that it is deeply appreciated and spent wisely. Whether your gift is $25 or $2,500, collectively our dollars make a huge impact on the education of our children.
Your participation, no matter the size of your gift, is key. In addition to ensuring our school’s solid financial future, high participation is a benchmark used by outside foundations when deciding which of the many worthwhile schools will receive their financial support. Outside funding is key to providing enhancements to our programs, curriculum and offerings such as our global studies initiative, professional development, technology integration and financial aid—all of which are funded by outside grants. Imagine the possibilities if every family would participate!
The Fund for San Jose ensures our school has all of the necessary resources to provide the exceptional education you expect. From technology to textbooks, security to salaries, programs to preserving our property (and everything in between), every dollar of your tax-deductible gift is put to its best use.
In 2021-2022, through the generosity of our donors, we raised over $125,000 to benefit each and every student. Proceeds from the annual fund allowed us to:
- Purchase new air conditioning units and additional campus maintenance
- Purchase new playground storage
- Fund Think Tank, our schoolwide enrichment program
- Recruit and retain the most talented faculty by providing competitive salaries, benefits and professional development
No. Money collected through the Fund for San Jose is not used to fund tuition assistance for students.
Our goal is 100% parent participation. Our faculty, staff, Board of Trustees and church vestry also give in support of our school. We also receive gifts from grandparents, alumni, parents of alumni, church members and other friends.
