Why did you choose SJEDS?

As an SJEDS alumni from the class of 1988, I knew San Jose would be at the top of the list when it came time to choose an elementary school for our children. The reputation of the school has always been stellar! When we visited we were amazed at all of the things that had stayed the same and how much had changed. The tenure and experience of the teachers and staff were unparalleled and the overall warm and loving feeling on campus made the decision to choose SJEDS very easy.

What does your child(children) enjoy most about SJEDS?

Our children love everything about SJEDS! All three of our children enjoy the different opportunities to get out of the classroom and learn in other ways with Think Tank, the technology integration and amazing field trips. They particularly enjoy the traditions such as flag raising, first/sixth grade buddies, and most importantly chapel and chapel chats, but never want to leave extended day or art class!

What is/are your favorite thing(s) about SJEDS?

Our favorite thing about SJEDS is the nurturing and supporting environment it has provided to our three children. The SJEDS faculty and staff are great at identifying our children’s abilities, building their confidence and preparing them for the future. Our children are truly loved and challenged at San Jose!

How has your child grown as a result of their experience at SJEDS?

At SJEDS, our children have all grown in their love of Christ, have learned first hand the importance of giving back and being kind and are reaching their full academic potential.

What would you tell another parent considering enrollment of their child at SJEDS?

We would tell anyone considering SJEDS to be ready to join the most amazing and loving environment where you and your children will make life-long friends and your children will learn academic and social skills to last a lifetime. SJEDS is an investment in your child’s future that will continue to pay dividends long after their time at San Jose is done.
